Hannah's First Day of School - 1st Grade

Here is the Monday before school started when Hannah met her teacher for the first time.

I can't believe she is in 1st Grade. Her teacher is great, Mrs. Hamrick. She loved her first day, here are a couple pics...

Mr. Sea Lion, please don't kiss me...

So we went to Panama City Beach to Gulf World and saw some great things! One was a Sea Lion show, you could get your picture taken after with a Sea Lion. He could even "kiss" you on the lips or cheek! The girls wanted a picture, but no kiss. Can you tell Madi was a little nervous being so close to the Sea Lion. The lady kept saying look at the camera, her head pointing forward, but her eyes are shifty! So cute!

Vacation! Destin, FL 2008

We had a great time in Destin! Beautiful, white beaches, clear blue/green water, amazing sunsets, it was perfect. We actually went just East of Destin. There were much nicer beaches and more private! So fun! Here are a few pics...check out my facebook for more!

Cute Father's Day Pics

Memorial Day Fun!

For Memorial Day we enjoyed a rainy Ward Breakfast, which was really fun and a great program too. Then we were going to head to a National Park, but it was too wet. So, we took a nice nap instead! Then our friends, the Calls came by for a visit. We hung out for a while and then had a picnic at Tanyard Creek and went for a nice hike to the waterfall. It was a wonderful day!

This pic is of Eric pointing out poison ivy to the Call family. They didn't have any in Mexico so we want to keep them safe!

Fun and Field Day!

We have a little comedian in our family. She loves to make others laugh, unfortunately some of it is "potty" humor we are trying to get her over that!

But something she said this morning did make me laugh out loud. As she was in the car with Eric, getting ready to go to preschool, I give her a heartfelt hug and tell her I love her. Madison's response, "Remember my teeth and tounge." Where in the world?....Just something to try to make us laugh again. That's my Madi!
